Not only our reserve, but the agricultural production as
well, offer an interesting combination of agricultural andecotourist
attractions. We tender you our private forest for birds watching, a small lake,
visits to organic faros and the experience of communal living. This is the real
communal tourism where you will have the chance to live in harmony with the
environment by involving the community into a productive and efficient task that
makes nature no harm. What we look forward is to manage properly the natural
resources, promote communal participation and provide the visitor the chance to

Who to get there
La Gloria de San Carlos de Aguas Zarcas. The
lodge is 15.6 miles from Aguas Zarcas, on the road to Altamira. 1.8 miles after
the Altamira crossroad take the gravel road on your right for 9 miles until you
reach La Gloria. The lodge is located on the same road after 1.8 miles more. 2
hours from Arenal Volcano.

Full capacity: 32 people. Single and double beds and bunk beds.
Restaurant: Dinning hut, typical food. Option: eating at families homes. Biological
Reserve of 260 hectares, trails, flora and fauna watching (Green Macaws, Howling
Monkeys, and others.)
Tours
Visit to agricultural plantations (cassava,
pineapple, plantain), participation in agricultural activities. Quiet, familiar
