Friendly Greetings and our best wishes on behalf of Fundecooperación para el Desarrollo Sostenible and Cooprena R.L.! The Project “Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy in Zhemgang Dzongkhag (Bhutan) and Rio San Juan Basin (Los Chiles – Caño Negro – Guatuso, Costa Rica)” was carried out thanks to the collaboration of entities such as the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, through the South-South Cooperation Program, Fundecooperación para el Desarrollo Sostenible, Cooperative Consortium National Ecotourism Network COOPRENA R.L and the Tourism Department of Bhutan, which, together with the target organizations of the Project, worked together in favor of the development of the beneficiary organizations of both countries.
For this reason we would like to present to you the most important of the products obtained during the execution and development of this sustainable Project: “La Ruta Verde”, with the main goal of providing you information about the development of this Project of such great importance, the execution and development of the Ruta Verde and of its members, who represent the tourism supply of the Northern Region of Costa Rica. In this way, you will have access to our new Sustainable Tourism supply in the communities of the Northern Region. With the idea of enriching the tourism supply that is being developed in Costa Rica, we also have included other initiatives that are in line with the rural, cultural and sustainable concept we aim to promote.
We would like to take the opportunity to provide you access to the new services that stand out in the tourism supply of the country, with high quality standards and that work hand in hand with sustainable tourism, which, besides providing diverse and very pleasant experiences to the tourists, allow making valuable contributions to the development of the (mainly farming) communities, which nowadays combine their traditional activities with the target Projects in the sustainable, cultural and community-based rural tourism sector.
We say goodbye reemphasizing our complete disposal to attend any consultation, special request or suggestion that you have for us.
A brotherly hug from your friends at Fundecooperación para el desarrollo and Cooprena R.L.!
